Conduct communications surveillance in line with documented procedures to identify a broad suite of risks including suspicious behaviour, financial crime, market misconduct, conflicts of interest, anti-competitive behaviour or leaks of confidential information • Ongoing monitoring of the regulatory developments in the UK and Global and attending the relevant Industry Forums/Webinars. Key areas of focus include compliance and assurance review of MIFID II, MIFIR, REMIT, MAR, GDPR. • Assist the Surveillance Governance & Controls team with the testing and evaluation of Surveillance system enhancements. • Liaise with stakeholders outside of Compliance on Surveillance related matters. • Provide support to compile and deliver management information packs to the relevant stakeholders. • Lead communications surveillance technology projects and manage relationships with the third-party vendors providing the monitoring solutions. • Utilise expertise to cooperate on the deployment and calibration of the Communications Surveillance tool used to monitor voice & communications channels. • Supporting HR & Litigation team in a wide range of discovery work, DSAR, investigations providing E-Comms and Voice data. • Liaising and managing vendors i.e, Teams, Bloomberg, ICE Chat, TeleMessage, Cloud9, EE, O2, Verba and continues calibration of the surveillance platform Global Relay. • Random monitoring of all electronic communications – including IM’s, SMS’s, voice recordings, emails etc.
