Currently practising at one of the UK\'s top 50 law firms, with 12 offices nationally, I defend corporate clients who are the subject of all manner of criminal and regulatory investigations across the Country. This includes proceedings that are brought by the Police, HSE, SFO, CQC, FRS, TPR, EA, HMRC,Traffic Commissioner, Trading Standards, and Local Authorities amongst others. As part of my duties I represent clients who are facing allegations of corporate manslaughter and breaches of health and safety legislation as well as representing corporate bodies who appear as interested persons at Coroner’s Inquests. Similarly, and in circumstances which are becoming increasingly common, I also advise companies and their employees who have been called to give evidence at Public Inquiries. This included the well publicised Inquiry into the Grenfell Tower disaster in 2017. I practice across all business sectors and have notable experience advising companies in relation to allegations of bribery and corruption, fraud, money laundering, and proceedings that are brought under the Proceeds of Crime Act. Aside from this, I regularly speak at external events and provide training to organisations so that, should the worst happen, they are better equipped to handle any criminal and regulatory investigation.
