ABOUT DANIEL MCINTYRE

I am an operations and transformation exec leader with experience across Financial Services, Retail and large international multi site customer environments. I currently hold SMF24 accountability, leading regulated operations across complaints, collections, fraud, recoveries, vulnerable customers, debt sale and customer service, with responsibility for governance, Consumer Duty outcomes and FCA compliance.My career has focused on turning complex operations into high performing, efficient and customer focused service models. I have delivered large scale cost reduction, AI driven service transformation and operating model redesign across UK and international teams, while improving risk control, customer satisfaction and colleague engagement.I am recognised for designing an award finalist complaints model and for delivering some of the strongest FOS performance in the sector. I have also led enterprise level change programmes that strengthened regulatory assurance, reduced arrears to historically low levels and delivered material operational efficiencies.My leadership spans operations in the UK, South Africa and Manila, with experience across Retail, Financial Services, credit risk, customer service, collections, fraud, complaints and transformation. I enjoy building teams, simplifying complex problems and delivering outcomes that stand up to regulatory, commercial and customer scrutiny.Areas of interest include Operations Leadership, AI enabled service design, regulated operations, customer strategy, transformation, risk and governance.
