About Daniel McGee
Over the past few years I have quickly learned what it\'s like to work in the manufacturing world. I am a product engineer that works in all aspects of the commercialization process. I have been primarily been a project engineer, working simultaneously on projects in both Aluminum and Steel wheels. While working on these projects, I have- Provided projected product specifications for the business case - Designed the wheel utilizing FEA (ANSYS 12.1) practices and optimizing the wheel for both weight and aerodynamics - Coordinated the manufacture of prototypes from both internal and external sources - Tested the wheel to the proper specificationsThroughout the projects, I have maintained both the budget and schedule while maintaining communication with customer to ensure the design has met their expectations.
