ABOUT DANIEL MACDOUGALL
I’m a second-year student at Dalhousie University, where I passionately study two disciplines not often combined: physics & neuroscience. Outside of the classroom I stay actively involved in student leadership, fitness, & volunteerism in both Halifax and my home town of Sydney, NS.Recently, I’ve also embarked on a new journey as an entrepreneur running my own business through the Student Works Management program; where I’ve created the incredible opportunity to employ a dozen other students around my age through my marketing, sales, and production teams. Ultimately generating over six-figures in revenue thus far, while balancing academic and extra-curricular commitments.Outside of school and work, I love staying active through sports and fitness ranging from soccer & basketball, to hockey & hiking, and my favorite which is golf!Looking forward, I’ve got my eyes set on ophthalmology, where I plan to combine my love for science and business and open my own practice to better the lives of people in my community and beyond!
