ABOUT DANIEL MACDONALD
Qualified UK Pharmacist with a 1st Class with Honours Masters of Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham and Independent Prescriber. I have a keen interest in global health and patient-centred care. This has been shown through my time as the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) European Regional Office (EuRO) notably the IPSF EuRO Chairperson 2023-24.Through my experiences as a Pharmacist at Boots, I have worked across 3 stores, and regularly deliver services such as the Common Ailments Scheme, Emergency Hormonal Contraception, Discharge Medication Reviews and I am trained to offer flu vaccinations. I am experienced at managing a team, and working in a fast-paced environment to a safe and high standard.Furthermore, I have a passion for advocacy which I’ve exemplified through my work as a Pharmacy Curriculum Review Intern, ensuring the MPharm degree at UoN developed to offer prescribing skills to its students and was taught in a manner that promoted equality, diversity and inclusion, and provided numerous opportunities for growth and development to students.
