ABOUT DANIEL LUBLIN
Expert employment lawyer and founding partner of one of Canada\'s leading workplace law firms. I assist employers and employees in employment and contract law, human rights, human resources and labour relations matters. I focus on providing both advocacy and support. To me, this means that I assist clients to understand the issues with clarity and focus and what the best solutions are for their legal and practical workplace problems. Once we have properly identified what needs to be done, my team and I are the best in the business at accomplishing it. I have been lead or co-counsel in numerous workplace law cases, many involving important or timely legal issues for both employers and employees, including as lead counsel on a precedent setting decision at the Ontario Court of Appeal, and a ground-breaking class action matter against Canada\'s largest bank. Over 30 of my decisions are reported judgments. My success has resulted in my being recognized by both Lexpert and Best Lawyers as a top lawyer in my field. Both awards are based on consensus opinions of other leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues. It’s been a huge honour.Knowing how important it is for working Canadians to understand their rights, I have written or commented in media on current relevant issues. As the workplace law columnist for the Globe & Mail, I have been publishing columns since 2011 on a variety of important topics.
