Oversee the management of a PAN London Children and Young People (CYP) Homicide Service • Manage the CYP team to ensure bereaved children and young people of homicide are at the centre of all the services activities • Managed Homicide Caseworkers to deliver a high quality, front-line service to eligible CYP who are bereaved through homicide • Co wrote and ensure implementation of all relevant aspects of Quality Standards and Homicide Service CYP Operating Procedures. • Implementation of a PAN London CYP Homicide Service adapting service delivery to meet the needs to young people during COVID 19 restrictions. • I have Built and maintained links across London with Police Family Liaison Officers, MET Major Crime (Homicide) Teams, Social Services, HMCTS, Youth Offending Services, Community Safety Leads, third sector organisations and other agencies, both individually and collectively. • Supported the development and implementation of a Peer Support Service • Effective risk management of young people within the service • I am the Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) for Victim Support across London. • Manage and support caseworkers working across London to enable them to deliver highest quality support to young people, ensuring they are compliant with all quality standards, policies and procedures • Sensitively able to lead services for those young people who are at risk of exploitation as well as being bereaved
