About Daniel Kreitzberg
I am passionate about improving health outcomes! I earned my PhD working under Dr. Keryn Pasch in the Prevention Research Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. While earning my graduate degree, I was funded at the Texas Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science (TCORS). Specifically, our center surveilled tobacco use behavior and exposure to tobacco marketing among adolescents and young adult college/university students across Texas. It was very meaningful for me to directly add to tobacco control evidence that has influenced policy and health outcomes!Statistics intimidated me when I was an undergraduate student. I recall putting these required courses off until I no longer had a choice. Fortunately, I had a wonderful professor and teaching assistants (TAs) who provided a foundation for my love of statistics. In graduate school, I took as many statistics courses as I could. These courses complemented my health behavior/education training as I could not only formulate research questions but also run the analysis myself. This training lead me to a career in biostatistics! As a biostatistician within the clinical science department at Everly Health, I\'ve modeled a range of biomarkers ranging from sleep and stress hormones to HbA1c and TSH. I\'ve worked with real-world and clinical trial data. It has been so much fun to work with such interesting data and I am proud to help patients gain insight into their own health!Google scholar:https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en & as_sdt=0%2C44 & inst=40••••••••81 & q=kreitzberg+daniel & oq=Programs & Skillsets: Data Processing & Analysis: SQL, STATA, Mplus, R, SPSS, Python, and SAS (currently learning on Coursera) Data Visualization: Looker and Tableau Data Types: very large, real-world clinical, clinical trial, social media, questionnaire, business, health plan member, eye-tracking, and tobacco marketing Cloud Computing: AWS, Google Cloud Dataproc, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud Statistical Modeling: linear and generalized linear regression, structural equation modeling, hierarchical linear modeling, mixed effects modeling, natural language processing, paired & independent sample t-tests, interrater reliability, two-proportion z-test, hidden Markov models, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), penalized logistic regression, random forest, XGBoost, multivariate adaptive regression spline, negative & positive predictive value, positive & negative percent agreement, Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance, Kaplan-Meier, Kendall’s tau, Mann-Whitney U/Wilcoxon rank sum test, and harmonic regression
