ABOUT DANIEL KELLY

I am a highly experienced Mental Health Nurse and Senior Clinical Practitioner, currently leading within a Band 7 role in the NHS. My career has been defined by a commitment to delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care and fostering clinical excellence within the mental health sector.In my NHS leadership role, I focus on:• Providing advanced clinical assessment and intervention for individuals with complex mental health needs.• Driving service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance within my team.• Supporting and mentoring junior staff to ensure a high standard of care delivery.Beyond my NHS commitment, I utilise my specialist assessment skills as a self-employed ADHD Diagnostic Assessor on my days off. I am passionate about providing timely, comprehensive, and compassionate ADHD diagnostics, bridging the gap for individuals seeking answers and understanding of their neurodivergence. This dual role allows me to maintain a wide scope of clinical practice and directly address a significant area of unmet need in mental health services.What grounds me and drives my dedication is my belief in a holistic approach to care. I am very family-oriented, and I bring that value into my clinical practice, understanding that mental health care does not happen in a vacuum. I am committed to supporting not only the individual but their wider support system, recognising that family well-being is fundamental to successful outcomes.I am always interested in connecting with other mental health professionals, healthcare leaders, and those working in neurodiversity.
