Key Tasks • Manage and develop an effective department by setting objectives and tracking progress • Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software and operating systems • Coordinating technology installations, upgrades and maintenance • Testing, troubleshooting and modifying information systems so that they can operate effectively • Generating performance reports for operating systems • Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures • Coordinating technology installations, upgrades and maintenance • Implement and support positive change to meet business objectives • Influence staff performance by implementing effective KPI’s • Create an annual Business Plan in-line with current objectives • Identify training requirements, improve skills and support career development • Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment in-line with Health and Safety standards Standard Tasks • Undertake staff management procedures in-line with company HR guidelines • Carry out and oversee the Appraisal and process to encourage employee development • Responsible for a safe, clean and organised working environment in-line with Health and Safety standards • Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the company
