Working as a User Researcher means I get to help Blizzard designers and program managers. A key component of this is creating strong relationships by attentively listening to their needs, then providing them with different ways to get answers to their questions. I make sure to highlight the pros and cons of each approach and then make sure to keep them up to speed with how the research is progressing. My open and warm style of communication helps build the trust necessary to allow for healthy and eye opening discussions around research findings and possible design directions.At Blizzard there is no requirement that you be a \"gamer\". If you\'re creative, have an open mind, and have something you geek out on, then you\'ll find a home here at Blizzard.Away from work, I spend time with my amazing wife, and two wonderful kids, Ellie and Henry. We go on day hikes, trips to the mountain or beach, anywhere we can experience nature and the open sky. I make it a point to enjoy the present with my family and friends, that is where so much happiness lives, in the moments.
