ABOUT DANIEL JEANS

As a CA, and graduate from the University of Strathclyde, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in the field of business. I am currently working as an Accounting Trainee at Nelson Gilmour Smith, an accounting and business advisory firm that provides a range of services to clients across various industries. I am proficient in using SAGE, a cloud-based software that enables me to manage and automate accounting workflows, generate reports, and comply with tax regulations. Although software proficiency and audit experience have been valuable, I have most developed from exposure to a variation of businesses. This has developed my commercial awareness and cemented my confidence in client facing opportunities. I am now confident in the provision of accounting and business advisory services through a continual progression in personal skills such as analysis, judgment, and communication. Prior to joining Nelson Gilmour Smith, I worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Lloyd\'s Pharmacy for four years. Throughout these years I learned from several difficult experiences - often a combination of violence and pressure. This learning has shaped me to think effectively under pressure and become more able to find solutions in customer-facing conditions. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the community. I am confident that I can bring a diverse perspective to the team and contribute to the success and growth of the organisation.
