ABOUT DANIEL J. WEISSBURG
The web of healthcare compliance requirements is dense and sometimes scary. I untangle that web with impactful, engaging education programs, efficient process reviews, and logical, user-friendly policies. My passion is for building a culture of compliance and as a pragmatic business partner, I craft “guardrails, not roadblocks.” As an executive leader, my true north is patient and family centered care, and the compliance function is most impactful when it partners to ensure that patients receive the best care possible. My greatest fulfillment is in educating and mentoring the next generation of healthcare leaders to bridge compliance gaps. In the heavily regulated healthcare industry, compliance is intrinsic and not ancillary to the mission of high-quality care. Bottom line, an effective compliance program is a more cost effective for research, education and clinical care than an ineffective compliance program.
