ABOUT DANIEL J. PODBERESKY

Daniel J. Podberesky, MD, FACR, FSAR is Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida and Nemours Children’s Health, Specialty and Primary Care Practice, Central Florida (Orlando, FL). Dr. Podberesky is an internationally recognized, Board Certified pediatric radiologist with over 80 peer-reviewed publications, over 40 book chapters, and dozens of invited lectures around the world. He is Professor of Radiology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and a graduate of the General Management Program of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on multiple scientific committees of various radiological societies, is currently a Board Member of the Florida Radiological Society, and is a former Board Member of the Society for Pediatric Radiology. His primary areas of clinical and research focus are advanced imaging of the pediatric chest and abdomen. He joined Nemours after serving six years as Chief of Thoracoabdominal Imaging at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Department of Radiology and Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati. Previously he served as Chief of Pediatric Radiology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, TX while an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force.
