As an IT Operations Manager at WaFd Bank, I lead a team of 7 System Analysts and oversee the IT infrastructure and services for over 240 bank branch locations throughout the United States. With more than 17 years of IT experience in both military and civilian sectors, I have successfully implemented complex technology solutions across various environments and domains, including data center, security, database, application integration, and cloud.My core competencies include problem management, change management, incident resolution, IT policy development, IT security compliance, and network monitoring. I also have expertise in data center operations, such as power, environmental, and physical security management, as well as failover events. I am passionate about continuous improvement, automation, self-service, and virtualization for corporate initiatives. I have an MBA from Northwest University and I am a veteran of the US Marine Corps, where I acquired valuable leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.    Manage a team of 7 System Analysts and over 200 bank branch locations throughout the United States. Owner of asset management, problem management, change management, and resolution of all major incidents throughout the Bank. Manage all power, environmental, and physical security aspects of the primary and secondary data centers. Provide monthly reports to auditors to remain compliant with OCC, GLBA, and SOX. Modify current IT Policy in order to map to recently created standards and procedures in order to meet regulatory compliance standards. Manage day-to-day operations of the NOC including application and network monitoring as well as all financial file transfers totaling millions of dollars daily. Compile and provide all metrics and KPI’s for all branches, ATMs, applications, and systemic problems to the Executive Management Committee on a monthly basis.
