About Daniel Holden

Thank you for checking out my profile. As the Chief People Officer for Nestlé USA, I work with an amazing team to drive the people and culture strategy for a dynamic +$12B business. Our HR teams touch the lives of over employees and their families, working all across the US. And our products reach 97% of the households across the country, providing nutrition and enjoyment as part of people\'s daily lives. That is a tremendous privilege and responsibility. In my role, I report to the Market Head and CEO of Nestlé USA and sit on the Executive Leadership Team. My work spans the full end-to-end employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee experience and culture, talent management, learning and organizational development, people analytics and insights, total rewards and employee services, among others. I have extensive experience in large-scale organizational transformations, driving innovation, culture building and working through complex enterprise-wide initiatives. I\'ve also been deeply involved in a variety of technology and digital transformations, and I co-lead our Everyday Digital strategy, designed to embed AI and digital tools in the daily working lives of our people. I leverage my prior experience in legal and commercial roles to bring a business and people-first lens to everything I do, and my primary leadership objective is to help those around me to deliver for the business by achieving their full potential. Prior to my current role, I was the Vice President, Deputy for Zone North America, based in Switzerland. I represented the North American businesses within our HQ, and worked across a diverse range of areas including strategy, sales, marketing, digital, eCommerce, people and a variety of others. Before that, I was the Head of Human Resources and General Counsel at Nestlé Canada Inc. As the head of two independent functions, I was responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s HR and legal affairs across Canada. Prior to joining Nestlé, I worked as Legal Counsel at Kellogg Canada Inc. and before that, I was a commercial litigator at Bennett Jones LLP. As a litigator, I appeared before a variety of courts in Ontario and before the Supreme Court of Canada.
