ABOUT DANIEL HANNA

I’m a Civil Engineer and Ivey business graduate passionate about combining technical precision with strategic thinking to deliver impactful solutions. Over the past few years, I’ve contributed to large-scale projects across precast systems, steel construction, mass timber, and wood stick frame building.Professionally, I’ve gained hands-on experience at Stubbe’s Precast, where I optimized production processes and developed solutions to enhance efficiency and quality. At R.V. Anderson, I contributed to major water and wastewater projects, sharpening my adaptability and problem-solving in dynamic environments. My role at Research allowed me to apply software development and testing to validate engineering models, achieving a 94% accuracy rate with FAST software.Beyond work, I’ve led the Western Engineering Concrete Canoe Association, where I helped grow membership from 5 to nearly 200 students and guided our team through design, testing, and construction phases. This experience reinforced my ability to lead diverse teams, mentor others, and balance collaboration between the shop floor and executive meetings.My strengths lie in bridging people and ideas—whether it’s coordinating with engineers and suppliers on-site, presenting to stakeholders, or teaching peers by anticipating challenges they may face. I thrive in environments that demand both technical execution and clear communication.Looking forward, I aim to continue applying my engineering and leadership background to projects that demand innovation, resilience, and collaboration.
