I worked for CSM for 6 1/2 years 19••••95 as a carpenter before I moved to KY. I then returned in 2005 as a carpenter and in 2007 moved to project manager.As Project Manager I provide leadership, direction and oversight during all phases of construction around a fully operational jobsite. This is a multifaceted position with wide ranging responsibilities. I am involved in all phases of the construction process: preconstruction, construction and post construction. As Project Manager I also coordinates construction efforts, predict and resolve conflicts before they impact the project, and deliver timely and cost effective solutions. I ensure that the Owner’s highest expectations are met by delivering all projects on time, within budget and in a safe manner.Major Tasks include• Develop scopes of Work • Identify Phasing Plan/Schedule • Act as the Gate Keeper of Bidders Request for Information (BRFI’s) • Prepare & monitor Submittal Log• Coordinate construction activities including workers, materials and equipment. • Ensure that all construction specifications, standards and quality expectations are met or exceeded. • Utilizing OSHA construction and general industry regulations, ensure that projects are installed in a safe manner• Assist in processing cost issues• Responsible for delivering a quality product • Assist in Closeout Documentation- As built Drawings • Follow Up on Warranty ItemsAt CSM, I also manage the Facility Service Department to provide clients with corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance. This department offers quick response to emergencies, and can also work with clients to perform special projects.
