ABOUT DANIEL GRIGGS
I accepted and now serve in the position of Planner - Transportation in Spartanburg, South Carolina. I will work closely with stakeholders to serve and grow Spartanburg County to become a safe and accessible region for all people. Most recently I had served as an intern with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government through the PSO Student Scholars Program, where I gained highly relevant experience in my field. Under the guidance of an assigned mentor, I contributed to a statewide K–12 enrollment projections project for the 20••••26 school year. This research will support school systems across Georgia in planning for costs and resource allocation. The role requires proficiency in various software tools, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.I am a 2025 graduate from the University of Georgia as a double major with degrees in Geography.
