I am the IT Infrastructure Manager at Xenon Pharmaceuticals. I have over 20 years of progressive technology experience across the IT, pharmaceutical, and financial industries. I collaborate with cross functional partners to enhance infrastructure, cybersecurity, and the end user experience. My background in employee engagement, due diligence, FP & A, and vendor management gives me a holistic perspective and allows me to create effective comprehensive solutions that unlock additional revenue. Some notable highlights from my work experience include:· Assembled infrastructure team to manage, steer, and support organizational growth, develop employee career roadmaps, and coach team, strengthening collaboration with Help Desk team and improving team productivity· Led project to migrate GSuite to Office 365 (legacy phone system to MS based phone system integrated with Teams and Yealink desk phones, Google Drive to OneDrive, Gmail to Exchange Online, Google MDM to Intune, and meeting room upgrades) to fully integrated Teams meeting rooms with automation· Spearheaded migration from on-premise Windows file server to SharePoint Online with Teams/OneDrive integration, improving collaboration with external partners/vendors and internal cross functional collaboration· Built, trained, and led Power Platform development team to create enterprise applications and tools, optimizing workflows for IT, Finance, and Procurement departments and reducing workflow· Re-architected and upgraded network infrastructure to modern Cisco switches, Palo Alto firewalls (always on VPN through Azure AD and certificate authentication), and Aruba ClearPass for dot1x, saving 250+ employees time daily while improving organizational cybersecurity posture· Rearchitected/secured email flow (reconfiguration of firewalls, VPN’s, Netscalers, Exchange, Barracuda mail gateways) standardized firewall rules, and implemented load balancing for 10+ clients (40+ sites), decreasing related support tickets by 80% and resolving redundancy/client access issuesI enjoy networking with technology professionals.
