ABOUT DANIEL GOLDENBERG

Daniel Goldenberg is a principal at Goldenberg & Company PC. He represents a select clientele, including independent producers and distributors of film and television programming, musicians, authors and artists. Daniel advises on all aspects of the development, financing, production, licensing and distribution of film, television, music and new media projects. Daniel has significant expertise in Intellectual Property law, with an emphasis on copyright in both Canada and the United States. Daniel works frequently with content creators and advises them on all aspects of the creation, protection, development, production and exploitation of their works in all media. With a particular interest in Canadian music, Daniel has assisted a number of bands, producers and artists in the negotiation of recording, management and publishing agreements. Daniel also has significant experience advising companies operating in the digital media space with respect to general corporate matters and IP-related concerns. Specialties: Daniel represents his entertainment clients on all aspects of their transactions including production financing, the provision of chain-of-title and corporate enforceability opinions, E&O insurance review, guild/union agreements, Canadian federal and provincial tax incentives, option and acquisition agreements, talent agreements as well as broadcast, distribution, co-production and co-venture production service agreements at all stages in the development, production and exploitation process.
