Analyze/program & test enhancements to pseudo-conversational CICS programs. Send new messages/warnings to users. Use APIs in main programs to do the actual DB2 retrievals/updates in DB2 tables, by means of a chain of called subprograms. Configure and use InterTest software to monitor and debug code. Implement changes in Production- Develop new CICS transactions/programs accessing VSAM KSDS files and DB2 tables to Search and Display Historical Paid checks data, Transaction Exception file, Outstanding checks Master file, etc- Develop an FA Alert Batch system with Cobol programs, XML embedded code and JCL to process input information to produce XML records to be written to MQ Series queues. The MQ queue is then used to build Live Alerts to User Operations about uncashed checks- Modify several JCL/Procs/Programs to reflect changes demanded by Business Units- Communicate efficiently with team members and other teams to explain various technical and business issues, requests for collaboration, present test results, etc- Provide timely help and instructions to Production support team when issues arise, or for special execution of jobs outside the daily schedule- Attend OpsTech presentations by other teams, team/business meetings using Audio conferencing/Skype or Zoom, complete development plan courses- Business units we serve: Stock Plan, Private Banking Ops and Escheatment. Environment: IBM z/OS 2.04, IBM Enterprise COBOL for z/OS 4.2, CICS Transaction Server for z/OS 4.2, SOAP CICS Web Services, CA InterTest for CICS v11.0, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, CICS TD/TS Queues, MQSeries, Change Man ZMF 8.1.4 (source code management & version control), Easytrieve+, JCL for z/OS 2.04, File-AID 17.2, File-AID for DB2 17.2, IBM Fault Analyzer, SDSF Output, z/OS Unix, IBM Tivoli Manager (TOM) – job archiving software, TWS scheduler.
