Responsible for commissioning and providing mechanical service work on a wide range of MAN turbomachinery and third party equipment within the UK, both offshore and onshore.Industries including: Oil & Gas, petrochemical, power generation & manufacturingRoles and experience including:• Installation and commissioning of new turbo-machinery• Re-commissioning and start-up on completion of service work.• Machinery experience including barrel compressors/steam turbine generator sets/axial compressors and all auxiliaries i.e. Lube oil system/dry gas system/Hydraulic oil system• Conduct onsite healthcare inspections and provide advice on operational control • Investigating problems, trouble shooting, diagnosing/repairing faults • Start-up support of turbo machinery • Customer support with operational procedures • Operational control of compressor system• Carrying out performance and mechanical testing • Vibration analysis and predictive maintenance• Calibration of performance testing instruments • Surge controller setup, testing and tuning
