Currently manage a team of over 25 attorneys for a national motor carrier program. Historically I have worked on a wide variety of supply chain litigation and commercial/transactional issues that arise in the logistics environment. I also regularly represent clients in regulatory compliance matters- Defense of motor carriers in personal injury litigation- Premises and industrial liability of every scale including catastrophic injury and wrongful death- Cargo litigation, Carmack Amendment, COGSA, Montreal Convention and Insurance, coverage review, declaratory judgment and policy issues- Complex commercial transactions, contracts, international purchase/sales agreements- Regulatory compliance, Customs, OFAC/BIS, trade regulations, and other cross border issues, DOT Audits- Commercial real estate. property tax assessment/ad valorem- Cross border litigation issues- Insurance defense and litigation management in a large, national logistics programSpecialties: Licensed Customs Broker with the U.S. Department of Customs and Border Protection; Arbitrator with the Texas Comptroller\'s Office and have presided over more than 200 Appraisal District property tax arbitration hearings.
