ABOUT DANIEL FROMM
more than 17 years’ experience in the construction industry I have over 15 years’ experience in civil engineering with exposure to large, high profile, international tunnelling projects across Europe and Australia. My Design Management and Co-ordination roles on large-scale infrastructure projects such as Crossrail London or Cityringen Metro Copenhagen (railway tunnel) and AirportLink Brisbane or SAAGA Amsterdam (highway tunnel) included on-site design and construction phase services as well as construction management and supervision. During my time as a designer and planer in technical offices and consultancies I gained extensive experience in structural engineering, which covers the design and construction of tunnel, underground, concrete and steel structures, with specific knowledge in performing structural analysis and design of precast segmental tunnel lining for TBM driven tunnels.I am self-driven with high level of motivation and track record of delivering into requirements of the role.Last Project Role: Director • Overall project volume (>300 Mio. €)• Highway tunnel in southern Germany• TBM-driven tunnel length approx. 2 km (diameter 13,40 m)• Cut and cover sections more then 1 km long• Connection to an existing tunnelCurrently Head of Planning (Geo/Infrastructure) with CDM Smith SE in
