ABOUT DANIEL FLAHERTY
Producer, director, showrunner and writer with more than 25 years of experience working in non-fiction television and documentaries. I’ve developed, produced, directed, written and edited a wide range of programs including true-crime, historical documentaries and verite-driven series for networks including A&E, Showtime, AMC, Sundance, Lifetime, Discovery, National Geographic, PBS, TLC, VH1, and Court TV. Most recently I was showrunner of It Couldn’t Happen Here for Sundance/AMC+ and co-host of the companion podcast. Previous series include The First 48, Parking Wars, Dog: The Bounty Hunter, Family Plots, Trauma: Life in the ER, and Lifeline. Documentaries include Your Money, Your Life for Showtime, Making the Grade for Discovery Times and Show of Force for TLC. Editing highlights include NOVA, The American Experience, The History of Rock and Roll, VH1 Presents the 70’s, and The Gipsy Kings: Tierra Gitana.
