A highly dedicated and reliable Engineering lead that strives to push the performance of the team through strong mentoring and training to drive up standards with the Engineering department. I have a comprehensive background in mechanical and electrical engineering along with plc control including diagnostic interrogation and software modifications. Able to effectively manage budgets both rolling and Capital across both daily activities and complex projects. Experienced as an Engineering Manager and also UK health and safety manager. Able to effectively manage teams of engineers across multiple sites with a firm understanding and execution of HACCP, H&S, team and individual development and GMP principles.A dynamic engineer with an aptitude for hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical fault finding, using schematic drawings and computer based libraries. Fully competent in component strip and repair with a wealth of experience maintaining and investigating all types of mechanical and electrical systems.With a strong background in all engineering principles that has enabled me to build and develop into a strong and reliable manager, able to oversee and manage a wide variety of skills from a much larger team. I have been part of teams being able to consistently deliver outstanding audit results including BRC and SQMS.Experienced in budget management and stores control including daily, monthly and quarterly reviews maintaining spends across multiple functions within the set forecast. I have been solely responsible for the creation and management of onsite CMMS including all planned maintenance activities, calibration of all equipment as required and control of contractors and external companies.
