About Daniel Elgaaen

I have always loved project management, because of the interpersonal communication one gets to experience with people, but having been in that business for nearly a decade, I fell in love with the idea of training others to be successful in whatever career field they choose for themselves. Because communication is key for any business to become successful, I love training and teaching people how to speak and communicate effectively, as well as teaching individuals and companies proper project management techniques. Up to this point, I\'ve had the opportunity of successfully creating EPMOs and interdepartmental procedures to increase the effectiveness and efficiency for a few different companies. It\'s a passion of mine and I\'m very good at taking any piece of information and teaching it in such a way that anyone can understand it. I\'ve honed my techniques for teaching and presenting information and ideas, then, coupled with my history of leadership in athletics and scholastics, I have created a unique, yet incredibly compelling take on training others to become better at whatever it is they wish to do.

   Established functional EPMO that supported business in all initiatives regarding projects, enhancements, processes, and training. The EPMO resulted in over 400 total initiatives over 3 years.• Ran multiple programs (a collection of related projects) and individual projects simultaneously that resulted in over $10mil annual revenue saved from 20••••24.• Helped create new functional roles within operations and IT in order to better align to the processes created by the EPMO.• Worked with multiple vendors to create contracts, detail scope of work, and then worked closely with the vendor to ensure projects were successfully completed. • Created advanced SOPs for multiple departments to ensure alignment with the EPMO processes were being observed. • Oversaw multiple software integration projects across multiple departments. • Coordinated closely with a variety of departments (especially IT and Operations) to ensure smooth communication across all departments and maintained proper documentation throughout the entire project. • Became a key POC for all departments regarding many initiatives and made key decisions regarding costs, vendor decisions, change requests, and resources.• Worked closely with C-Suite to create functional timelines, KPIs (measurable outcomes), cost analyses, and prioritization. • Became SME for SHCs internal EPMO tool known as Adaptive Work.
