I’m a Tech Risk Lead (Technology Risk Manager) working across both 1st and 2nd Line of Defence in UK financial services. I specialise in technology, cyber and operational resilience risk, helping organisations move fast without breaking things.I currently support the integration of risk frameworks across Direct Line Group and Aviva, consolidating controls into a unified enterprise standard and strengthening governance, reporting and risk-based decision making. My work sits at the point where strategy meets delivery: shaping control requirements, providing constructive challenge, and making sure risk is designed into solutions from the outset, not bolted on at the end.What gives me an edge is a hands-on technical background. I started in telecoms engineering (apprenticeship/NVQ route) and progressed through network support, Security Operations and security engineering.
