Led and designed field and laboratory research for nature-based carbon dioxide removal solutions, with a focus on soils in working lands through regenerative agriculture. Research ranged from near surface, short-term storage in to deep geologic and surface water transport and long-term timescales. Projects include water, soil, and gas sampling and analysis, alongside laboratory mineral analysis through X-ray diffraction, scanning elecrton microscopy, x-ray fluorescence, and gas chromatography. Geochemical reactive transport and hydrologic modeling in PHREEQC and Hydrus, with geospatial and statistical data analysis through ArcGIS, Python, R, and Excel.
