I am a CIPD qualified professional with over 25 years’ experience across several sectors and industries.This includes experience in leading, implementing and developing HR functions at all levels, from HRD and below, and across a wide spectrum of skill sets. Further experience includes working in both established frameworks and establishing a new function within an organisation with no prior HR support.I believe that the HR function needs to continually evolve, both strategically and technically, to allow it to remain an intrinsic part of the business strategy and to be a key driver in achieving operational success. As a people person, I\'m not just interested in the operational business aspect but also the potential of the individual through innovative training pathways. The human aspect of Human Resources is increasingly crucial, especially in these difficult times. We as HR professionals are key in all areas of successful business performance and planning and I am enjoying my role that allows me to be a real influence and support for a real \'people\' orientated business.
