Currently as a Regulatory Compliance SME, accountable for the ship-readiness of products for the NA market. Regulations and certifications exist for RF, environmental, safety, battery, energy efficiency, repairability, and accessibility compliance. Challenges are many and include evolving technologies and standards, expanding obligations, aggressive schedules, complex designs, and budget/cost. As a member of the New Product Introduction organization, supported numerous smartphone product launches at factories on four different continents. Launch readiness is evaluated and high-volume production approved only when product performance, quality, reliability, design for manufacturing, design for test, factory capacity and process quality, and overall cost meet strict internal and external (customer and government) requirements. As a member of the Product Development organization, designed baseband circuits in the world\'s smallest and most technologically advanced smartphone products at the time (circuits involving power management, processors, memories, sensors, displays, cameras, batteries and chargers, and audio).Possess experience developing, troubleshooting, testing, and mass producing products that utilized the following network and wireless technologies: LTE, UMTS/WCDMA, CDMA, CDMA 1X, EVDO, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC.Supported the development and manufacturing of smartphone and wearable devices with the following sensors: accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity, temperature, infrared, low power audio, Hall effect, and biometrics (such as fingerprint and heart rate sensors).Worked closely with numerous industry-leading vendors including electrical and mechanical component makers (for mobile devices), IC manufacturers, software developers, manufacturing subcontractors, and companies that design and produce audio transducers, sensors, antennas, imagers, touch panels, displays, and housing materials for mobile devices.
