ABOUT DANIEL COLE

With a strong background in leadership and global volunteering, Daniel has expanded his intangibles through a profusion of experiences. Currently while working as a Associate Director in BMO\'s Corporate Finance Division, Daniel is in pursuit of achieving both his CPA designation. As a student completing his Business Management Degree Specializing in Accounting at Western University, Daniel was driven to gain knowledge through a plethora of working and internship opportunities. As a past Finance and Accounting Intern for Precision Drilling and a Marketing Intern for the London Knights Hockey Club, Daniel gained firsthand experience in an oil drilling corporation and worked with corporate sponsors for a renowned junior hockey club. Further promotions, contracts, and event organization experience was gained while interning during the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup. After being selected for the 2013 KPMG Executive Look Event in Toronto, Daniel went on to complete a Summer Internship at KPMG LLP. Over the following two years, Daniel was honored to be invited to speak on a panel during the KPMG Executive Look Conference helping young innovative and high achieving students from across the country participate in workshops, listen to partner presentations, and explore audit, tax, enterprise, and advisory.Daniel continued on to work full time at KPMG from 2015 to 2018 spending the majority of his time in the corporate audit division working with a diverse group of clients across different industries.Goals• Achieve both CPA designation with a corporate finance focus.• Gain a greater depth of knowledge relating to finance and consulting services.• Continue to learn and attend different educational opportunities and conferences.• Establish strong connections with a vast network of different businesses and industries, and develop relationships with individuals globally and in local areas.
