About Daniel Clark

I’m proud to say: I truly love what I do.For more than 21 years at Sherwin-Williams, I grew from an accounting intern to managing the Industrial Control Software team responsible for SCADA, MES, and automation systems across global paint manufacturing. Along the way, I wrote code, solved problems at 2 a.m, led digital transformation projects, and mentored early-career talent into successful developers. That journey taught me grit, adaptability, and the impact of helping real people run real operations more effectively.Today, I’m bringing that experience to Axilon, where we’re building DevOS (an AI-enabled developer assistant) and AMP (an application management platform) for Inductive Automation Ignition. These tools are changing how developers and managers approach industrial software: building faster, deploying with confidence, and finally moving beyond “test in production.”At my core, I care about growth — systems growth, business growth, and people growth. Whether it’s helping a junior developer find their footing, creating solutions that eliminate downtime stress, or building furniture in my shop as Builder Dad, I bring curiosity and heart to everything I do.If you’re interested in Ignition, DevOps for OT, or just want to swap shop stories (wood or industrial), let’s connect.
