Experienced Capitol Hill Staff and local elected official, currently Director of Sr. Congressional Leadership at the House of Representatives and former Chief Of Staff of 16 years, with over 25 years of legislative, managerial, political, communications and local outreach experience. Expert advisor with proven record of motivating and coalescing staff to strategically plan and execute office goals, culminating in 16 consecutive election cycle victories (primary and general) for Rep. Grace F. Napolitano of the US House of Representatives. In June of 2021, I joined the US House\'s Office of the Chief Administrative Officer Catherine Szpindor to help launch a new, unprecedented office in the role of Director of Sr. Congressional Leadership. As the initial hire of this bipartisan office, I work to provide tips and best practices for all House staff from intern to chief, to excel in their job via virtual panels, podcasts, in person trainings, and 1 on 1 private consultations.Proud to be elected to serve as Neighborhood Commissioner in the District of Columbia for District 2e07 and to Chair the Federally Chartered Chesapeake Bay Local Government Advisory Committee comprised of local elected officials from MD, VA, WV, DE, NY, PA and DC.

   Current Director of Sr. Congressional Leadership at the US House of Representatives\' new CAO Coach Program. Under the leadership of the US House\'s Chief Administrative Officer Catherine Szpindor, and Deputy Admin Officer Lisa Sherman, I helped launch this unprecedented bipartisan office and role in June of 2021 as the first hire. In this position, I currently work with 3 colleagues - 2 former District Directors and 1 former Chief of Staff with over 65 years of Hill experience combined to create, write, produce and present virtual panels, podcasts, in person training sessions and video \"how to\'s\" for all staff of the 441 Member offices in the US House of Representatives. Training issue areas and topics include leadership and management, budgeting and strategic planning, leading staff through covid and loss of a colleague, de escalating situations, relationship building, negotiations skills, legislative and communications strategies. In addition, I have and will continue to meet with hundreds of Hill staff, from interns to chiefs of staff, to provide 1 on 1 private consultations aimed at helping staff strategize and address their unique day to day challenges in their roles.
