ABOUT DANIEL CARR

I have over 20 years of combined public and corporate accounting experience. My experience includes two years at PwC, primarily serving financial services clients. In addition to my audit work, I have over five years of additional experience on the corporate side as I worked in various accounting roles at Citi, ultimately serving as the controller of its overseas investment holding company. In this role I was responsible for all financial control aspects including balance sheet control, the internal controls framework and financial reporting. My transaction experience started in this role as well, as I served as a key accounting contact on multiple large-scale equity and asset deals, structured finance projects, and strategic investment and capital initiatives.After Citi, I joined Baker Tilly and served as a manager in the TAS practice for over two years advising both buy-side and sell-side clients throughout the entire M&A life cycle. I then joined RSM\'s national TAS practice, and was dedicated to working with both buyers and sellers to help identify key deal issues and provide a \"quality of earnings\" analysis enabling clients to gain a clearer understanding of deal value. My experience included financial due diligence, investigative transactional analysis, strategic capital analysis, debt capacity analysis, and financial modeling advisory services. After RSM, and prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, I served as a Controller and VP of Finance for multiple private entities. In these roles, I was responsible for financial oversight, financial controls, financial reporting and other FP & A functions and helped drive internal M&A initiatives. I now focus on global pricing, treasury management and corporate development activities. I have served clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution and technology, utilities, construction, real estate, financial services, professional services, senior living services and healthcare.I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh, where I was also a member of the Men\'s Ice Hockey team.
