Daniel (Dan) Hickey, CPWA®, a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, joined Northern Trust in 1994. He has 35 years’ experience as both an equity research analyst and portfolio manager and currently serves as the Regional Portfolio Advisor for Florida. In this role, Dan’s primary focus is on working with a small group of Ultra High Net Worth Clients whose needs include sophisticated portfolio implementation and oversight as well as income and estate tax planning and family governance. Previously Dan was the Senior Investment Officer for the West Coast of Florida overseeing the investment activities of the investment staff (portfolio managers and investment associates) for a region spanning Tampa to Naples with over $15 billion of assets. Dan has previously served as a voting member of the Northern Trust Investment Policy Committee which guides firm-wide investment policy and currently serves on the Northern Trust Investment Advisory Committee.\\\\n\\\\nA native of Tampa, Dan earned his B.A. in Finance from the University of South Florida and his M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University in Chicago. Dan holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA) designation awarded by IMCA and the University of Chicago Booth School. He is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Trust School at Northwestern University and was awarded the CFP® Certification (inactive).\\\\n\\\\nDan previously served on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Naples, and is a member of the CFA Institute. He also served on the Board of the Neighborhood Health Clinic, a nonprofit providing healthcare to the working poor and volunteered on their Finance Committee. He served on the Investment Committee of Naples Community Hospital and he has served on the United Way Budget Review Committee for several years.\\\\n\\\\nDan and his wife, Dr. Jill Hickey, live in Naples with their two children.\\\\n\\\\n
