About Daniel Bryan
Like most veterans leaving the military after 22 years, I had no clue what I wanted to be when I grew up.I started with HR. Then tried project management. Both safe bets and familiar lanes. But none of them lit the fire. Then someone said, “You’d crush it in sales.”Next thing I knew, I was in high-rise offices talking to global procurement leaders and legal teams about MSAs, logistics challenges, and $50M+ opportunities. I didn’t have a business degree—I had real-world leadership. Years of leading Soldiers through pressure, uncertainty, and mission-critical decisions. I knew how to read terrain and the room, manage personalities, adapt to the unknown, and drive outcomes with limited resources. That translated. Because the skills that keep people alive in combat are the same ones that keep businesses alive in a storm: clear communication, decisive action, and the ability to rally a team behind a common goal. When I stepped into government sales, it all aligned. I found myself supporting the warfighter again, but this time through capability, not command. I worked across DoD programs, National Guard missions, and SOCOM efforts, delivering mobile infrastructure, field-ready systems, and rapid-response trailers that made a real difference. It gave me a new way to lead, give back, and keep showing up where it counts.Impact has always been my metric. I’ve led 200+ person teams, helped launch and serve as president of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on youth mentorship through basketball, coaching over 300 young athletes, and uniting teachers, college players, families, and local businesses around a shared mission. That kind of leadership, community-rooted, purpose-driven, and people-first, carries over into everything I do.Over time, I’ve built a reputation for operating in any arena: boardroom, military base, battlefield, or basketball court. I’ve closed $50M+ in deals, developed strategic go-to-market plans, and become a subject matter expert on government contracting, tactical execution, and high-performance team culture.I believe the best leaders don’t just adapt; they drive the tempo. They walk beside the client. They build trust fast and solve problems before they become visible.Whether it’s stabilizing a team through turbulence, leading a high-stakes B2B pursuit, or helping a junior rep find their stride, my approach stays the same:Be present. Add value. Lead from the front. If that’s the kind of partner or leader you’re looking for, let’s connect.
Experience
Sales Manager Army Usace Army Program Offices
Aug 2025 — Present · US
As the Sales Account Manager for the Active Duty Army vertical at Bren-Tronics, I own the mission of getting the right energy solutions into the right hands across the force. My lane is Army business development end-to-end, from program offices and modernization commands to sustainment units, SOF elements, and front-line users who can’t afford a power failure.I focus on building pipeline, shaping requirements, and positioning Bren-Tronics as the Army’s premier partner for expeditionary power. That means translating operational gaps into deployable solutions: 6-PACK systems that replace fuel-heavy generators, HYPER hybrid power that keeps TOCs alive under EM threat, smart charging ecosystems that reduce the battery burden, and low-temp BB-2590 variants that perform where other systems quit.My work spans capability briefs, energy layout reviews, early prototype feedback loops, and strategic targeting across PEO C3T, PEO Aviation, DEVCOM, AFC, ASC, USASOC, and leading BDEs/BNs preparing for LSCO. I coordinate daily with sustainers, PMs, S4 shops, and tactical SMEs to align product, funding, and fielding.Bottom line: I help units stay powered, connected, and ready, anywhere the Army fights next.
