Develop and execute fuel and emission hedging strategies, in particular value driven dark and spark spread hedging • Identify and apply dynamic trading strategies for natural gas storage facilities within the NCG grid area (total managed withdrawal capacity:~1.600 MW)• Identify and apply static and dynamic trading strategies for coal and gas fired generation assets and waste incineration plants (total size:~2.300 MW) with consideration of the power, fuel- and emission prices• Develop concepts and custom products for cogeneration plants (CHP), in particular model-based mathematical optimization services, hedging strategies incl. forward, spot, intraday, balancing markets, as well as local heatload and regional grid load forecasts• Provide sales support and participate in the acquisition of service customers • Produce the annual business plan for the generation and gas storage portfolio and 3rd party services and monitor the relative performance to business plan objectives• Hold regular and annual staff appraisals
