Daniel is a qualified chartered accountant who currently sits as an Associate Director within Deloitte\'s Accounting Advisory team, providing advice to clients on complex accounting issues.In this role, Daniel is responsible for liaising with clients and colleagues across the firm on advisory projects, understanding the requirements for each project, and management and delivery of a bespoke deliverable to the end user in accordance with their requirements and timetable.Recently, Daniel has been involved in providing advice in respect of a number of transaction structures, with a focus on advising clients on corporate restructuring engagements alongside Tax and Legal colleagues, as well as assisting clients in other complex accounting matters and transitions to new GAAPs and updated accounting standards.Prior to his work in Accounting Advisory, Daniel spent six and a half years in Deloitte\'s audit practice from October 2010, during which time he worked for a number of private equity and TMT-industry clients, managing teams and engagements to provide high quality service to varying-sized clients, both privately and publicly owned. This role saw him managing engagements for the whole audit process from initial planning meetings with clients, through to planning the audit, performing the field work, and signing off the required reporting.He has vast experience in review of critical business cycles related to the day-to-day operations of businesses (e.g. bill to collect, procure to pay, etc.), coupled with a general knowledge and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements.
