Thank you kind person for reading my about section. You might be skeptical how someone with philosophy training and clinical research experience might become a data analyst. Data analysis in essence is thinking critically about data to make informed decisions. In my graduate studies at University of Toledo and Florida State University I regularly taught critical thinking and logic sections. You might be taught the five why\'s, but it is a philosophers job to ask why until we are satisfied with the answer.(We rarely are). However, in the real world there is not time to sit around a Greek agora and question people about justice. Or to pluck a chicken, and show it to Plato to prove that \'human\' cannot be defined as a featherless biped. We have to spend the time on the critical points and when something is critical, we have to think critically about it. Here is an example from clinical research documentation. Is a document problem, e.g. documents not signed, a systemic issue? Find the root cause and solve it. If it is not a systemic issue correct it and move on. Tracking the data on this is crucial. Is someone making similar mistakes consistently? Have we migrated documents incorrectly? What is the error rate per section? The list goes on. Data analysis requires critical thinking and attention to detail. Hire me for these skills. Also, see a summary of my technical skills below.
