About Daniel A. Schroeder

Dr. Daniel Schroeder co-founded Organization Development Consultants, Inc.(ODC) in 1994. He currently serves as ODC\'s President/CEO. Under the sponsorship of executive leaders in over employers, encompassing entities of all sizes, from virtually all employment sectors, including faith-based organizations, he and his colleagues at ODC provide assessment-based solutions that consistently produce significant gains in the areas of organizational, team/work unit, and individual effectiveness. Since 2022, Dr. Schroeder has taught courses in Harvard University\'s graduate program in Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology. For two years, he served as Faculty Advisor for Harvard\'s I-O Psychology Society. In the past, he taught in the Organizational Leadership and Change (graduate) and Organizational Behavior and Leadership (undergraduate) programs at Edgewood University (Madison, WI), programs that he founded, and for which he originally served as Director.Prior to co-founding ODC, Dr. Schroeder worked as a Consulting Psychologist, initially for a Chicago-based firm, and later for one situated in Milwaukee. For each of these groups, he completed a wide range of projects relating to employee selection/placement, leadership development/succession planning, employee training/learning/development, team development/effectiveness, and organization development/effectiveness.Dr. Schroeder\'s professional interests include organization development and effectiveness, leadership development and succession planning, high performance learning systems, employee engagement/motivation/satisfaction, and employee selection and placement. Emerging areas of professional activity include:(1) licensing and credentialing issues for psychologists in the United States (particularly for applied consulting psychologists and I-O psychologists),(2) workplace wellness initiatives,(3) diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and (4) systemic program evaluation/linkage research interventions in support of Balanced Scorecard and ROI frameworks involving “learning partnerships” between the higher education and employment sectors. Dr. Schroeder holds numerous leadership roles related to the professional practice of psychology. These roles are associated with the major professional organizations in the field. Dr. Schroeder earned his doctoral (Psychology/Organizational Science) and bachelor’s (Psychology/Professional Business) degrees within the University of Wisconsin System. He earned his master\'s degree in I-O Psychology at Western Michigan University.
