About Danielle Dhanoa
I help cooperatives–from producers to food hubs to retailers–build power through federated cooperative-owned digital infrastructure at C-Group & Market Organic Cooperative (MOC). While farmers receive just 15.9% of the $2.5 trillion food dollar, they bear 100% of the production risks and land stewardship responsibilities. MOC addresses this by facilitating more direct-trade between organic producers and buyers while improving food access and enabling better pricing for both farmers and purchasers. My experience scaling REBBL from startup to $30M+ and leading product teams at FoodX Technologies revealed a critical gap: farmers lose economic power without ownership of the infrastructure and value chains that handle their products. Unlike extractive tech platforms, MOC uses federated cooperative models to build collective market power while preserving self-determination.
