ABOUT DANICA DVORACHEK

Hi, I’m Danica! Thanks for stopping by.I’m a strategy-minded storyteller and systems thinker who loves helping teams make clearer decisions and move forward with confidence. Over the past 7+ years, I’ve focused on turning complexity into clarity, designing processes that scale, and making sure big ideas turn into real results.I’m especially drawn to work where decisions feel high-stakes, cross-functional, or messy, the kind where data exists but alignment does not. Whether I’m mapping OKRs, standing up new workflows, or shaping cross-functional playbooks, my goal is always the same: create decision systems that are data-informed, human-centered, and trusted by the people who use them.At Square (Block), I worked across finance, growth strategy, and operations, translating partner data into go-to-market insights and supporting executive decision making. I redesigned workflows, created executive-ready narratives, and focused on making complex analyses feel accessible to every team member, not just the ones with “analyst” in their title. Before Square, I supported the Food and Beverage line of business at Walt Disney World, where I managed forecasting and planning for more than $2B in annual revenue. I guided multi-million-dollar investment decisions and modeled operational changes across hundreds of locations, including rebuilding large-scale forecasts during COVID-19.Across roles, I’ve become increasingly interested in how decisions get made, not just the outputs themselves. That curiosity has led me to explore how tools like AI can support clearer assumptions, better judgment, and more inclusive decision making when introduced thoughtfully and responsibly. Some highlights from my work include:• Streamlining partner onboarding workflows with standardized ROI models, operating playbooks for Partner Managers, and consistent dashboards and reporting• Modeling financial & operational shifts for Walt Disney World’s Be Our Guest Restaurant as it changed from a QSR to a TSR for breakfast & lunch meal periods• Rebuilding the Disney Dining Plan forecast to accommodate new dining plan types and reservations• Serving as Global Co-Chair for Block’s Neurodiversity Community ERG, leading nine regional teams and inclusive programming for employeesWhen I’m not working through strategic questions, you’ll usually find me deep into a home project, out on a hiking trail, or building a spreadsheet no one asked for but definitely needed.Always happy to connect.
