With over 10 years of experience in social work and mental health, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who strives to improve the well-being and quality of life of individuals and communities. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a licensed chemical dependency (LCD) counselor, with expertise in child mental health, social services, and crisis intervention. I currently work as a complex care manager at Centene Corporation, a leading health care company that provides innovative solutions and programs to underserved populations. In my role as a complex care manager, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals, community partners, and members to provide comprehensive care coordination, assessment, planning, and advocacy. I help members with complex medical and behavioral health needs to access the appropriate level of care, services, and resources, and to achieve their health and wellness goals. I also work as a therapist at New Horizon Counseling, where I offer in-person and virtual counseling to teens, adults, and couples. I use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to address a variety of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and relationship problems. I have a patient load of 15 to 25 per week, and I tailor my interventions to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
