ABOUT DANICA PEDONE

I am a graduate of Neumann University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Digital Media with a minor in Sport Management, with a 3.9 GPA, Summa Cum Laude. My academic background provided a strong foundation in broadcasting, sports media, journalism, and digital content creation, equipping me to work confidently in fast-paced production environments.Throughout my time at Neumann, I was highly involved in student media and live broadcasting. I spent over two years with NeuPress, Neumann’s student newspaper, serving as Sports Editor and later Editor-in-Chief, where I led editorial coverage, managed contributors, and ensured timely, high-quality multimedia storytelling. In addition, I hosted and produced my own radio show on 98.5 WNUW, Neumann’s campus station, where I write scripts and rundowns, operate studio equipment, and deliver live on-air content, strengthening my broadcasting presence and communication skills.My hands-on broadcasting experience extends to live television and event production through Neumann University and its partnership with 93.3 WMMR. In these roles, I have operated TriCaster systems, PTZ cameras, and multi-camera setups, supported large-scale live broadcasts, and assisted with stream monitoring and technical troubleshooting to ensure smooth, professional productions. I am also a co-creator and host of weekly sports television programs, where I provide on-air analysis, research statistics and trends, and help guide shows from pre-production through post-production.Professionally, I have built a strong digital media skill set through my work with CHOICE SportsCards, where I advanced from Digital Media Intern to Digital Media Coordinator. I manage daily content across multiple platforms, produce photo and video assets, lead social media growth initiatives, and collaborate with marketing and creative teams to deliver engaging sports-focused content. I have also worked with Morey’s Piers Beach Sports, capturing dynamic photography and video content to support their digital and promotional efforts.With a passion for broadcast production, sports media, and digital storytelling, I am eager to continue growing as a media professional and contribute to dynamic production teams through future opportunities.
