Her technical background focuses on SEC matters, including filings of registration statements, private offerings, acquisition accounting, collaboration arrangements, multiple element arrangements, supply chain, and equity related accounting issues. Her private experience includes being the Director of Financial Reporting and Divisional Controller for a large publishing Company. Danica is a certified public accountant in Georgia, New York and New Jersey and is a member of the New Jersey State Society of Public Accountants, National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA). Danica has Bachelors in Business Administration - Accounting from Bernard Baruch College of New York City.Danica is actively involved in the firms recruiting efforts. She leads many initiatives inAtlanta related to the life sciences community. She leads the firm’s initiatives surrounding inclusiveness effort in the Atlanta market, which include serving as a mentor throughout the organization.As a wife and mother of three, Danica enjoys spending time with her family and coaching cheerleading, where she has the opportunity to mentor many young girls. A native from Panama, Danica is fluent in Spanish.
