About Dan Hirsch

Dan Hirsch most recently co-curated the 2019/2020 season for Duke Performances, and oversaw the programming of their signature Music in the Gardens series. He has also held the positions of concert programmer for the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, director of music programs for World Music/CRASHarts, director of music programs for ArtsEmerson: The World on Stage, performing arts curator for the Eli and Edythe Broad Museum at MSU, curator of performances and public programs for 3S Artspace, founding director of the experimental music series, Non-Event, and consulting curator to organizations including the Contemporary Art Museum Raleigh, the Rose Museum at Brandeis, the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the Goethe-Institut Boston, and both the Media Lab and the List Visual Art Center at MIT. In addition to his work as a performing arts presenter, Hirsch managed critically-acclaimed Sub Pop recording artists Debo Band.
