Working closely with our Head of Product I have the responsibility for the delivery of our software platform. This covers both the device and cloud development teams. This role entails- Ensuring we have the right people with the right skills in our team- Line management of the development teams- Ensuring best development practices are in place and followed- Working with our Product Management team to ensure the developers are working on the highest priority items - Making sure that we are following, and continuously improving, our agile delivery processes- Ensuring that our software is delivered on time and to the required quality

ABOUT DAN HEDGES
My journey in software stared at the age of 14 when I started writing games for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum (remember those?). Since then I have spent rather a lot of time working with various development teams, and what has become apparent is that creating software is not all about code, mostly it is about people.I love working with developers and technical teams to help them build software in the most effective way for that team. I get a real kick out of seeing people enjoying the process of creating software and seeing the great products that are released.Perhaps, though, what I am most passionate about is seeing individuals flourish and helping others to achieve their own goals and become the best that they can be.
